What does 6 Suta mean?
“Suta” is the traditional size grade of makhana. 6 Suta (about 20–22 mm and above) is among the largest and most premium grades available.
How do I roast plain makhana?
Heat 1 tsp ghee on low flame, add 2 cups makhana and roast for 6–8 minutes, stirring constantly, until crisp. Season with salt, pepper or chaat masala.
What is makhana?
Makhana, also called fox nut or lotus seed, is the popped seed of the Euryale ferox plant grown in the ponds of Bihar. It is naturally gluten free, low in fat and a good source of protein and fibre.
Are your products roasted or fried?
Our flavoured makhana is slow-roasted with a small amount of rice bran oil — never deep fried. Our Premium Makhana is raw/plain and ready to roast or eat.
Do you add preservatives?
No. We do not add any preservatives. Freshness comes from nitrogen-flushed, zip-lock premium pouches.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours and usually delivered in 3–6 business days across India. Metro cities are often faster.
Is Cash on Delivery available?
Yes, COD is available on most pincodes for orders up to ₹5,000.
Can I return an opened pack?
For hygiene reasons food products cannot be returned once opened. If you receive a damaged, wrong or expired product, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we will replace or refund it.
